Giving Back

O

Train up a child in the way he should go; even when he is old he will not depart from it.

Proverbs 22:6 (KJV)

Our Heart Space is Children.

Beyond raising our children with a solid, faith-based foundation; we are committed to helping others.

When our daughter was born, we would listen to Steven Curtis Chapman's "Cinderella”.

It was during this time that we learned about the Show Hope organization and have been supporters ever since.

After learning about Show Hope, we discovered other wonderful organizations that help Children.

These organizations focus on providing programs for adoption and children with the greatest needs.

Our family wants to encourage all children by showing them GOD’s love, therefore we are committed with our investing to improve the lives of children.

We feel this is the greatest accomplishment and are passionate about making a positive impact for future generations.

Show Hope

Steven Curtis and Mary Beth Chapman combined the platform and resources with which they had been entrusted to begin raising awareness about the global orphan crisis. From this simple calling, Show Hope was formalized with a mission to care for orphans by engaging the church and reducing the barriers to adoption.

Committed to the holistic care of waiting children around the world, Show Hope operates in four key areas: Adoption Aid, Care Centers, Pre+Post Adoption Support, and Student Initiatives. Since its inception, Show Hope has helped provide homes through Adoption Aid grants for more than 6,000 children from more than 60 countries, including the U.S. In addition, more than 2,500 waiting children with acute medical and special needs have received care through Show Hope’s Care Centers in China.

Foster’s Home for Children

Sherwood Foster, Texas oilman and rancher, with his wife Myrtie, began providing a sanctuary for children in their home in Stephenville, Texas in 1960. Foster’s Home for Children, named in their honor; was formed in 1985.  Foster’s Home for Children has embraced the Sanctuary Model of Trauma Informed Care as the conduit for implementing its mission to heal children and families suffering from violence, neglect, abuse, addiction, racism and trauma. Sanctuary is based on the idea that healing from trauma, stress and adversity requires creating an environment that promotes healing. Since its humble beginnings, Foster’s Home has served over 4,000 children and is the first site in Texas to fully implement and become certified in the Sanctuary Model!

Compassion International

Compassion International is a child-advocacy ministry that pairs compassionate people with those who are suffering from poverty. The ministry releases children from spiritual, economic, social, and physical poverty. Compassion International is Committed to the three C’s which are Christ Centered. Child Focused. Church Based. The goal is for each child to become a responsible and fulfilled adult.

Compassion's work has grown from modest beginnings in South Korea in 1952 when American evangelist Rev. Everett Swanson felt compelled to help 35 children orphaned by the Korean conflict. Today it is a worldwide ministry where millions of children are now reaping the benefits of one man's clear, God-given vision.
